I’m a reporter and multimedia producer with international experience, having worked in the U.S., the U.K., Sweden and Austria.

I’ve been working for The Independent in Washington, D.C. since December 2020.

For several years, I also hosted and produced a YouTube channel focusing on US and UK politics, and a podcast with a more traditional conversational format.

Reporter

Focusing on politics, I write breaking news and long-form features covering Congress, the White House and the presidential race, helping The Independent become the fastest-growing U.K. news brand in the U.S. 

Video Journalist

I led the online video coverage of the 2018 midterms and the beginning of the Democratic primary for the Swedish public broadcaster, SVT.

I also filmed and edited many crucial pieces for the website.

Video Editor

At The Sun I learned how to edit videos fast under stressful conditions to deliver for the website.

I also edited videos for The Sun’s various social media feeds which garnered millions of views.

Social Media Producer

While at Swedish Public Radio, I was in charge of crafting and moderating the social media output of the news and current affairs department.
